Bio
La Dott.ssa Angela Durante è ricercatrice (Assistant Professor) in Scienze Infermieristiche presso la Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna. Ha conseguito un PhD in Nursing and Public Health presso la Università degli Studi di Roma Tor Vergata (con lode). La sua attività di ricerca si concentra sull’assistenza infermieristica cardiovascolare (in particolare nello scompenso cardiaco), sul self-care dei pazienti, sull’esperienza dei caregiver e sulle transizioni assistenziali dall’ospedale al domicilio. Ha maturato formazione ed esperienza di ricerca internazionale in Spagna e nei Paesi Bassi ed è stata Fulbright Program Visiting Scholar negli Stati Uniti. Possiede una solida esperienza nei metodi misti di ricerca, nello sviluppo e nella validazione di misure di esito (PROMs) e nella ricerca qualitativa in ambito sanitario. Integra attività clinica e ricerca, collaborando in team multidisciplinari per promuovere modelli di cura basati sulle evidenze e centrati sulla persona.

Il focus di ricerca della dott.ssa Angela Durante riguarda l’assistenza infermieristica nelle malattie croniche (soprattutto cardiovascolari), con attenzione a self-care di pazienti e caregiver, transizione ospedale-territorio e telemedicina. Include lo sviluppo e la validazione di PROMs, e utilizza metodi misti e qualitativi per analizzare aspetti psicologici, socioculturali, educativi e tecnologici della pratica clinica.
